An excellent bit of work....Now all we need is for every other Regt and bn to be done...
One more charge and then be dumb,
When the forts of Folly fall,
May the victors when they come
Find my body near the wall.

I only found it when googling for the 3rd Suffolks as 2 of my grandfather's cousins were in that battalion during WW1.

Glad it's of use.

Re the 11th Battalion the Suffolk Regiment, does anyone have, or know were to find, a nominal roll of the Battalion please? My Great Grandfather served with them throughout the First War, but I don’t know which Company he served in.

Many thanks
Phil

Hi everyone,
My Great Grandfather was in 11th Battalion (Cambs Suffolk’s) But I cant find a nominal roll of the various Companies. Does anyone have one, or know where to find one please? He was wounded I think, so any roll of the wounded would also be welcome. He was L/Cpl. William A. Payne.

Many thanks
Phil
