George Harris STEPHENS - Census help please

On ancestry.com I have George with wife Gertrude Alice in residence at Essex. Household schedule 248 -   is that what you found?  Im sure that this is them
Gertrude Alice was born 25/11/1875.  I cant access any more detail than that.

Thankyou for the other census details of Rosa and Annie.   I havent had a chance yet to find a death for their mother but will have a go tomorrow.   In the meantime bed is calling at 11.15pm.

I lay awake last night thinking I was sure I had seen a death reference for Charlotte! Thankyou again

The 1901 Census record you have sent would be my grandparents with their first born child  Gertrude Ethel b. 16.07.1899.    There were four more children born in UK after her but I have all their details.  They left UK in 1912 then another three were born in NZ.

Can you please tell me what site you obtain such a comprehensive record from or do you subscribe to a site?

I suspect "Gutterward"  should be Gatward as that was her maiden name.

The latter - I'm afraid there's no free site offering comprehensive access to the censuses.

I thought that must be the case as you seemed to come up with so much more information than I could find and I was beginning to think I was just not searching thoroughly enough.
