Hendry/1861/ Census
« on: Saturday 17 October 09 13:47 BST (UK) »
Hi,
I am looking for A John & Mary Hendry (Hendrie) in the 1861 Census.
In the 1851 census they were living in Dalry and aged 36 & 34, John was an Iron miner & came from Ireland.

Hi Scully

Struggling to find them Scully  :-\

This might be the Charles who shows with them in 1851 as visitor in the 1861 census:

Charles Hendry 24, ironstone miner b. Ayr
Catherine Hendry 22 b. Johnston, Renfrew
Mary Hendry 2 b. Johnston, Renfrew
Anne Colquhon 10... a bit of a mess this one, shows as: Sister-in-law, Watchman & Pensioner!

Address: Craigs Land, Dalry

Can't see John and this a maybe for wife Mary in 1861:

Mary Hendrie, 46, sewer of muslin, b. Ayr
Address: W Side Of Wallace St, St Quivox
