Hi,

I would be interested in any Crummett or Osborne burials at Burnley Cemetery please.

I know I have 2 x 2 gt grandparents buried in there - Samuel & Rebecca Osborne and James & Annie Crummett.  I would be particularly interested in finding Samuel & Rebecca's daughter, Eva Crummett who died in 1957 and also Samuel's father, James Jenkin Osborne, who died in 1874.

There is one other as well - Annie Crummett's father - Henry Shackleton who died in 1890.

Thank you.

Sorry about this, my mistake, the Burnley information is actually for St Peters Church Burnley 1813 - 1982 and mainly for before Burnley Cemetery was open  :'(

I did find a Henry Shackleton however but the date is a little out but here goes.

29 November 1887  henry shackleton from Nelson aged 65.

Hi,

 :)

No problem.  We all make mistakes.  Thanks for looking in St Peter's though.  The Henry Shackleton you found isn't mine unfortunately.  I don't think any of my lot will be in St Peter's as they all arrived in Burnley in the 1850's from other parts of the country.

Appreciate your kind look up offer and I am sure there will be others who will find it helpful.
