1931 census booklet
« on: Monday 19 October 09 13:32 BST (UK) »
Went to a car boot sale yesterday & picked up a tatty but complete copy of the For Official Use document 'Notes for Census Taking' for 1931 census. It contains all the rules & a blank form.

Now anyone waiting to see the results of this census will be disappointed, it was totally destroyed in 1942.

Now have I got a collectors' item ?

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth
