I and a group at another site are trying to help an elderly lady find info on her mother who was last seen in 1941. The latest we heard she went to Eng. sometime after June 1941. U.S. got in war in Dec. 1941 but at what point were americans no longer allowed to go to Eng.? We think she may have gone to Eng. and got stuck there when Dec. 7th happened but need to know if she Could have left Eng. after that date to return to U.S. So when did travel between the two places stop for ordinary people?
