Robert Alexander McGruer

I'm looking for information on my father's family tree. My father is Robert Alexander McGruer..

Robert had an older brother, William (Bill?) and an older sister, Winnie (Winifred?). I think that Winnie married a Paterson/Patterson. If that's the case, then Winnie died some years ago.

Robert's father was also Robert McGruer. Robert's mother was Williamina Bathia Farquhar.

I have no information on the McGruer line other than the more recent ancestors were born in and lived in the Banffshire area - Buckie, Portsoy, etc.
