Asylum death

Can anyone enlighten me on the asylum mentioned on this death cert?  It's registered in the number 3 district of Dublin North in 1888.  It looks like NOH or NOL to me.  I can only think of Grangegorman (also known as St. Brendan's) or Portane (St. Ita's, which is well outside the city).  Could it possibly be attached to Mountjoy prison - the deceased was a prison warder?

Thanks,
Purpeller
