Hi Cathay,
Well my couple of hours turned into 12hours, not enough weetabix Cathay
a weekend in hospital, I do not recommend kidney stone's people
. pain you would not believe, but would recommend the morphine, looooooovly stuff.
I found the census reports you found jaytoot, and was taken into hospital before I could post them...honest
so our research seems to agree.
I found one more I'm not sure of though, 1901 John Willey aged 65, married, General Laborer??. He was in the union Workhouse in Hanover Square. Now I'm not positive about this one as his wife was not in the Workhouse, I looked at every individual, and I could not find her anywhere else, so some more research is needed on that one.
It looked to me Cathay as though young Charles was an only child, unless......his father was married before?
. He did marry late.
I also found a birth on the IGI for a John Willey father Charles, and I can't find it anywhere on my desk, I'll keep looking and get back to you.
Aha, found the 41 census I wasn't sure of, just to mix the pot a bit.
