hallo schizmee
i was wrong about monlas being monks,  as i discovered later.

i have progressed from my slaughter family tree into a one-name study ,  which is a nightmare involving some 3000 +   details.of south east uk slaughters
i have linked many into extended families and detached branches, but i am still persevering.

i am interested in your offer to share the details of your own slaughter tree, but have forgotten how to contact you privately to give you my email address.

i still have a link to tigertan and i suppose that i could access your tree from her

all of mydata is obtained from internet sources and therefore is unreliable and needs double-checking.
but my own tree was mostly compiled by an unseen cousin who used shoe-leather and examination of original records.

Hi Slod,
Good to hear from you! I have extensive paperwork for the Slaughter family tree, where do you fit in?! Who was your grandfather and I may have a bit more information for you.
I'm not sure how to send private messages on here either, whereabouts are you in the Uk? Maybe it would be easier to meet up and swop paperwork?
I'm sure Tigertan is my first cousin! We have never really met as our paths took different courses, but i'm hoping that she will come on again and pick up my message.

Kindest regards  ;D

Thanks Martin!

The sites you gave were really helpful, are you part of the Slaughter clan?

Kindest regards

Shizmee

No Shizmee, I collect medals to men in the RN, so know a little about researching them.

All the best with your quest.

Martin

Shizmee hi,

Have you had any luck with details regarding Kathleen Janet Helena Fraser Campbell? I too am trying to gather information. Bit of a brick wall at the moment though. I notice you haven't been on the forum for some years, so fingers crossed you come back on board!

Here's to good karma
