1901 census by address
« on: Monday 09 November 09 23:40 GMT (UK) »
Is it possible to search the 1901 census by address...I am having problems finding my husbands great grandfather Robert William Evans so I am pulling at threads looking for a link to his whereabouts in 1901.
On his marriage certificate to Emma Hughes in 1907 his address is 2 James Street Llanbradach Glamorgan. I am curious to know who was at the address in the 1901 census. I am not expecting to find R W EVANS but interested in the names of people which were residing there at the time of the census.
As I live overseas my resources for research are limited. ::)
Kind Regards

Robert William Evans was born c 1876 the 1911 census says he was born North Wales and does not give a town or county., Robert Evans marriage cert in 1907 says that his father name was Robert Evans and a farmer. and that R W EVANS was living at 2 James Street Llanbradach.   I have not been able to find him in the 1901 1891 1881 census as there are too many Robert Evans with Robert Evans as a father I dont have any thread that I can work on. Robert William Evans died in 1913 at Senghenydd Mine Disaster. I feel that he may have came from the Chirk Denbigh area.

Have checked on findmypast site.   This address didn't appear to exist in 1901.

Sorry.
