Hi Dannemois
Just to let you know that the family at 43 Merthyr Road you had found in 1881 and 1891 were 'my lot'! As far as I am aware that particular Joseph Morgan stayed in Abergavenny and married a Catherine. He died around 1946 I think, but I can double check the detail and get back to you. Not that I want to totally eliminate them from your research, but I am pretty certain that he never went on to live in Gelligaer. As I say I am away from all my family history notes right now, but I am sure you will find that Joseph Morgan in Abergavenny again in 1901. kind regards,
coydmor

Hi Coydmor
Sorry for the confussion; looking over the details I can see how this as gone wrong.
The information for the 1901 census at the start of this topic is correct and this is the family I am seeking.  Where I have gone wrong is adding a 'possible' family for 1881, there I was thinking I'm helping whereas I have only gone and led the trail up the wrong tree.

Cheers, Roy

Hi Roy
Shame though, would have been great to have found a connection there - as the Emily mentioned was my great grandmother! have just double checked and that Joseph Morgan did marry a Catherine in June 1905. Anyway I hope you are able to trace your Joseph back.
best regards
Sean (coydmor)

Hi Sean
Thanks for coming back; I have just reposted my request for Joseph Morgan in 1891 minus the 1881 details.  Hopefully this will do away with me ending up the wrong tree. :-\
