Thank you all, messages coming in at a great rate. Kiwihalfpint  great to hear of a new relative, Granny Smith passed away many years before I was born, but Grandad Smith was great fun and a big part of my early life.
Thanks Whenu for the info on Peggy

Hi Azetec,

One more post then you can ask whatever questions you want to know or pass on information through the PM system.  That is the green scroll.   Doesn't matter if we aren't on line .... a notification will appear as soon as we log in.

Just respond with a hello or a smiley.

Cheers

Hello from California, USA.
Douglas Grayson Menzies is my Grandfather's (Kenneth William Grayson, d. 1968 in Canada) half-brother.  I am in contact with his descendants in NZ. Willing to share any information/pic's that I have.  Would love to hear from any/all.

Hello Aztec, yes same person!  His father was Thomas Henry Grayson , my ggfather.  He left Pare Aruhe and married my ggmother Ethel Constance Watkins in Makauri/Gisborne.  They emigrated to canada in 1902.  3rd cousin in Te Awamutu helped me navigate the land courts in oct/nov 2013 in Gisborne.  Would love to hear more.  Perhaps u could help me identify some people in a few photographs?  Many thanks. Kelly.  Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Kelly,

Just one more post, even a smiley will do, and then you can use the PM (Personal Message) system, to exchange information and email addresses.

All the best :D
