Welcome To Rootschat

Hello Sue,

In an effort to unravel the history I had to document almost every Moore because they all tended to use the same names.

Who was your grand-fathers brother ?

You need to make a few more posts before you can use the personal message system.

My grandfather's brother was Isaac Moore.  Wm Murray Moore was the eldest son of a large family.  You seem to have gone to great lengths to find out about this family.
My great aunt brought his four daughters back to Cumberland.  I was fascinated by the passport information because Wm Murray Moore's eldest daughter (now dead) showed me her American Passport issued in Oregon all those years ago.
This family of Moore's is the family that were at Low Hall, Hensingham.  I noticed that you were asking about them.

Sue
