I have some more info which might be useful.Gilbert Goodwin,Hawker,married Irene Burr at Plymouth register office in March 1926,on the wedding certificate,Gilbert goodwins father is shown as Albert Goodwin,working cutler,and Irene burrs father is shown as Henry Burr, Hawker,
we know Irene Burr was born in 1902 in chacewater cornwall, from the 1911 census extract,and info is confirmed by her son who is now in his eighties.
