French Resistance

Hi all

I'm wondering if anyone can advise me about finding out about members of the French Resistance. My father, who was Irish (and supposedly neutral) but with some French ancestry, somehow found a way to fight the nazis in France. He wasn't in any of the regular forces and I don't think he was in SOE (I've done a bit of checking in the National Archives) although he did speak of some members as if he might have known them. Does anyone know if there are lists of people who fought with the French Resistance, particularly the Maquis?

I've asked on the WW2 board and various kind people have suggested some British leads to follow, but I'm hoping there may also be some French ones.
