i think he wanted his pension!!!!!!!!no its the right one,but goodness knows what his age really was.i think thats whats making him so difficult to find.his wife margaret ross was born in ireland and i wonder if thats where he was really born?who knows?i need to find him before 1881 really.i am searching the family search site at the moment.

   Is this Margaret in 1871 .... If so i would think James would be in this area.
   Cant find him though....
