Hi Lou
OK found Elm Tree and wandered in and around that area - nothing.
Edgware Road goes for miles - tried a Paddington section and it's side streets and nothing.
Tried Hall Place, Paddington again nothing.
Sorry - they are probably in there somewhere - I just haven't been able to find them for you.

I feel really rude for not getting back to you both sooner but for some reason I didn't get a message this time to tell me you'd posted replies.

Cougar, thank you so much for all your efforts.  Yes, that's Sarah Ann's birth.  I have her on the 1841 census in Marylebone, she's a servant.  Have been unable to find the rest of the family.

Someone has kindly been to the London Met Archives for me today after I found another BIBB marriage which IS connected to mine.

Peter Bibb married in 1848 but the address on that cert is no more help than the others....All Souls, Marylebone!

Had one of my brilliant thoughts and decided to trawl around the area of the church - not so brilliant.
The only Hooper I have found is Henry, aged 20 male servant born out of London on p 91 of
HO107 679 ED3 in ???? street - looks like Casulard??? St Mary, Maryelbone.
Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Good morning

Thank you for Henry.  I'm certainly NOT going to rule him out as maybe being connected somehow.

I can't find a marriage at the moment for Thomas and Harriet anywhere in London.  I know that not all the churches are listed on IGI or BVRI so they may well have married at one that hasn't had their registers filmed, but I also can't rule out the possibility that neither were born in London and may have married elsewhere before moving to London.

I've now managed to locate the other brother Peter and his wife Maria on the 1861 census.  I found them on the 1837online name index and someone has kindly sent me the return.  1837 have the address transcribed as 16 Gresse Street, Pancras, but to ME is looks more like Grefe or Glebe...it doesn't look much like Gresse anyway.

Not that that is much use...knowing this family, they went from marrying in 1848 to Pancras in 1861 via Timbuktoo!
