St Mary Magdalene, Launceston marriage ENDEAN-CUDLIPP
« on: Monday 23 November 09 16:50 GMT (UK) »
Hi
If anyone has access to the parish registers for St Mary Magdalene, Launceston, I am hoping for a look up. I have the GRO certificate for the marriage of James ENDEAN and Jane CUDLIPP who married on 12 March 1840. Unfortunately neither the groom's nor the bride's fathers' names and occupations are given, even though I am fairly certain that James at least was not illegitimate. I am hoping there may be additional information in the register.

Any assistance would be much appreciated

Hi and welcome to Rootschat

The certificate that you have purchased is a certified copy of the original entry - a photocopy

Hi Carole, thanks for the welcome.

Yes, what I have is a photocopy of the GRO certificate, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the vicar couldn't/wouldn't have written something extra or different in the parish register, so I was hoping that someone with access might be able to tell me if that was the case.

Thanks anyway
