Hi

I hope this is not taking advantage as I need a lot of information

Henry George Hunt b1898 Oxfordshire, England

Immigrated to Canada between 1901 and 1911 as he is listed in the 1911 census of Edmonton district 58 page 9 listed as plumber

He was with the Canadian forces during the First World War and was single at this time

I would like to know if he got married and had children and possibly when he died

thanks in anticipation
Hunt Parsons Court Oxfordshire
Thompson Rose Scott Lincolnshire
Hague Haigh Pearson West Riding Yorkshire
Fulton Gall Dempster Lanarkshire Ayrshire
Hill Kirkudbrightshire Ireland

If you enter Henry George Hunt's name in the upper right hand yellow banded search area it gives a hit for a marriage in 1920.  This is a pay site and you have to contact the owner to get a copy of the article.

The above link also gives you access to the Henderson directories for Edmonton up until 1953 - past that you have to pay the owner for lookups.
In 1921 there is a Geo. H. Hunt plumber Ross Bros. house 11223 81 St.
1936 Henry G. Hunt Reed and Turnbull house as above
1938 Henry G. info as above
1941 Henry G. info as above
1945 Henry G. same address no employer
Betty Hunt steno Prov Govt same address as above (possible daughter)
1951 Henry G. (Beatrice) plumber gas fitter same home address
1951 Stanley A. (Betty) Chettleborough fireman city 12021 97 St.

If you search using Betty Hunt at the above link you get 2 birth announcment for children of Stanley A. Chettleborough and Betty Hunt.  A boy in 1949 and a girl in 1950.  Possibilities for grandchildren but just supposition right now.

The Edmonton Public library maintains an obituary index for a few years and there is an entry for Henry George Hunt with an obituary date of Oct 14, 1967.  If you contact the library they might or might not charge you for looking up the obituary.  If the library won't do it the owner of the first website I gave should be able to get it for a fee.  Hopefully the obituary would have enough details to rule him in or out as yours.

Added
Stanley served in WWII with his brother Leonard.  Stanley's death was entered in the Legion Last Post magazine as Oct 13, 1999 @ 79.  Member of the Kingsway Branch of the Canadian Legion.

Thanks very much for the information AlbertaResearch, and I now have a quandary with Debbie about Betty's married name, unless she was married twice

"A" Betty Hunt was married to Stanley.   From pulling up the birth announcements and looking at directory entries that much we can prove.  However I pointed out that it was only a supposition that she was Henry's Betty.  There are many common names in genealogy.  You could use the directories to trace Betty and R. Keith and see what you find. Also look to see if there is an obituary for either of this couple and that might help.
