COMPLETED Runcorn marriage 1755 look up please

I have found Ralph Rogerson marrying Mary Barnes on 4th August 1755 in Runcorn.
My Ralph Rogerson started his family in the St. Helen's area about 1857 and I know his wife was Mary.
There's no trace of a marriage around St. Helen's though for Ralph and I've not found his birth. I'm wondering if the Runcorn marriage is his.
If anyone has access to Runcorn Parish Records I'd be grateful if they could look at this marriage on the off-chance it gives Ralph's parish.

Thank you for spotting my typo - only 100 years out! 
The marriage in Runcorn was 1755 and my Ralph and Mary definitely had their first child in 1757

If you don't get a better offer you can order a copy of the parish register entry online for a small fee from Cheshire Records Office:

You are unlikely to get much more information from a marriage at that time - only the witnesses might help you get a bit further.  But it's always nice to have the original entry and see their handwriting!

That's a great help Jean thank you. I get outside Lancashire or Lanarkshire and don't have a clue where to look!

I have to say I think the brides surname is Banner not Barnes, and one witness looks like Esther Banner. Not sure if that makes a difference to you?

I paid for a copy from Cheshire and I agee with you it's Banner. Thanks for the link - I never knew you could access the parish records like this, although I have used Family Search before and I've used the pilotsearch.
Wish I'd known about the fsbeta before, but never mind - it may come in handy for other tracing.

Hi Paula,

The beta site has only just become available - I think that the images appeared about mid January.  It's a test site and I don't know what the plan is long term so they may be removed (it happened previously).  So make the most of them while they are there!
