The Search on https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/civil-search.jsp

should find the Marriage... if registered!
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

So the parents are likely Patrick and Mary married 1937
You can find their marriage cert on Irish Genealogy

So where would a woman from Birr have her baby, if not at home?

Thank you. We think we’ve found the parents - Mary Callaghan and Patrick Gleeson, married 1937.

We also think Christine was actually born Theresa according to Family Search (we believed that was her middle name, but perhaps not!).

This is such a web of names and dates!

There is this death in 1950 in Tullamore
But the address isn't Pound St.

Not really..

Just search Familysearch for

Name: Gleeson,
Event: Birth,
Place: Birr,
Event Range: 1930-1950,
Country: Ireland

and they are all right there in front of you!

It may seem simple to you, but the Callaghan/Gleeson wedding is a small part of a much bigger web that I am trying to unravel. It is a really useful part to know though, so thank you for your help with it.

I think that Margaret Gleeson death in 1931 I posted earlier was Patrick's first wife
There is a marriage in 1923 to Maggie Dunne which looks likely for Patrick
