VIC - BMD ~ help please ** COMPLETED - with thanks **
« on: Sunday 29 November 09 10:01 GMT (UK) »
Hello

I'd most grateful of some of some help please.   :)

Seeking to verify some info on a VIC death cert. (image) which is a little difficult to read in parts.

[Death of Patrick MALONEY (incorrectly  shown as MOLONY on cert.) d. 1863 at Kilmore - aged 35] :

Would like to find >

*   Date of marriage - Patrick MALONEY to Mary RYAN (c. 1851)

*   Their (6 ) children are shown as ...

--    Mary - dead
--    Hanora  ?
--    Ann ?
[ Hanora ? and Ann ? are listed underneath the dead sister Mary, but I can't make out their ages ... or whether there are "ditto" marks, which might indicate that in 1863 they are also dead ?]

--   Margaret - 7 years (bc 1856)
--   Thomas - 5 years (bc 1858)
--     ????   ... this name looks like "James" ? - aged 3
--   Mary - aged 1 (bc 1862)

*  Interested to know if these children had second christian names ?

[ Marriage /  births - all at Kilmore.  MALONEY / MOLONEY var. ]

Many thanks.   :)

Lu

And thanks for popping in too, Cando  :) ... (battle of the trigger finger I see ? )  :D

Hmm  ... "Honora MALONY d. 1860 - birthplace: Bun " - that's got me puzzled ... Bun ?   :D

Many thanks again.   :)

Australia resources> Victoria resources has the following suggestions for Bun:
Bungaree, Buninyong, Bundalong, Bunding.  I don't think any of them are very near to Kilmore though, where the other registrations seem to be.
