Hi,
Not sure about James, but Michael was a grandson of David (my grandfather's brother) and Alice Spain, and a friend of one of my cousins, Raymond Leslie Donald Spain.
Stilborn was a sibling of Raymond's, Beverley was my aunt, she died 2 years ago.

Hi

I'm trying to find information on May Elisabeth Spain, born around 1889. I think her parents were Fanny Hammond and Charles Spain, but she's not listed as an issue on this thread. There seems to be a large gap between 2 children from 1884 - 1890, which fits in with the year she was born.
She left her husband (my ggrandfather) shortly after her marriage to run off with her lover.
Is there any information on her?
