I typed in Edwin Stonehouse and got  3 entries that could be yours including Edwin Stonehouse 1906.  It will only give you the reference numbers then you have to apply for the certificate

By typing in just Stonehouse and the date 1900-1910 there were lots int he area you are looking at

Do remember that freebmd is not complete.   The only complete one is 1837online and though you have to pay to search it does give you every possible option and you can search a lot of pages for the price of one wrong certificate!

   All I have on Minnie Muir is that she was my Grandfather's Stepmom.
Edwin Stonehouse Married a Minnie Muir 1908 Western Durham ( I am quessing Auckland ) I have found the Birth of 1 Child; Elise Stonehouse b Jun 1909 in Auckland. Sorry i can not help any further at the moment. But will yell if i make a connection. Minnie would have died before his 4th marriage in 1928. 1837online will help but i can not  download the viewer and i do not own a credit card. Where is Jarrow?

Jarrow is on the river Tyne between Newcastle and South Shields.    It was in Durham, now Tyne and Wear.   It was very industrial in the late 1800s early 1900s.  Palmers Shipyard was a very big employer.    Now very run down.    You should be able to get more information about it on www.genuki.org.
