The Gazetteer of British Place Names is a very useful site which provides a British place name index showing the County in which the place lies and other information.

Hello Omskirk, I love the picture of your Granny, how did you come by it, was it passed down the family?  How lucky you are having a picture of your Gtx4 Granny, we would all love one of those, thanks for sharing it with us.

Dear Mrswoman,
I realise how lucky I am, I have pics of all my grandparents from her to me, I found them by chance whilst looking for an address where one of my ancestors lived and I was directed to a house which had a wall full of photos of all my fathers line back to Sarah, I also found her grave.
The picture is a pen and watercolour painted in 1843.
Thank you for your comments, I do appreciate very much what I have

Thanks for telling me the history, I am in awe of the picture, and she was 89!  I think it is a wonderful piece of history, many thanks from mrswoman.

It's not a typo.  GENUKI is your friend.
