information on Garret Nagle please
« on: Wednesday 16 December 09 11:37 GMT (UK) »
I am having trouble finding anything such as birth, marriage or even death (possibly in 1746) of Garret Nagle, he married Anne (unknown surname). I know he was born in Ireland and they had 7 children.  Even though I am tracing the Nagle family tree (my mother-in-law was a Nagle) her brother has asked me to do a little on this section of the tree now before he passes away (he's 96).  If I could just get some sort of lead to show him would be great.

many thanks :-\

I don't know if the Garret Nagel mentioned here would be the one you are after:

I hope it is the right family that you have found Galium  :) Due to their daugher Nano Gagle, there are a few google references for this family including http://pbcalumni.org/PBCAAFPM/Biographies/fpm_nano_nagle.asp and www.presentationsistersunion.org/aboutus/default.cfm?loadref=130. There are more references.

      Hon. Edmond Burke.
The founder’s brothers Patrick and Edmond Nagle, the former aged 23, the latter 39
years. (And on the side of the tomb): Sacred to the memory of Ellen Sarah Nagle,
devoted wife of Edmond Nagle, Ballinamona Castle, died 11 July 1845 in the 25th
year of her age. Robert Nagle died 1723. Robert Nagle (another) died 1735 aged 13
