William Keopky
« on: Thursday 17 December 09 13:23 GMT (UK) »
I am well and truly puzzled.....I have been searching for the whereabouts of William Keopky but without success and wonder whether some kind person could help :)     William married Margaret Eleanor Ann Jenkins in Swansea in 1920 ( I have a copy of the marriage certificate) but after this date there is no trace of either of them.  Keopky is an unusual name in Swansea ( William is down on the marriage certificate as being a 'greengrocer').   If anyone can help with whatever information gleaned I would be very grateful :)

Garland - Overmoigne

where have you searched / what were you hoping to find?

There are no censuses after this date ...

Did they have children? If so birth certs will give their address at the time. (modified to add - cant see any in the indexes)
Have you seen what Directories the local Record Office holds for years after 1920?
Other than that there is just his death!

1891 has another Kopke in Swansea, and a mate in merchant service. He married as

John Charles H Kopke march qtr 1886 Swansea vol 11a pg 789 with Emilie Seagrave on the same page.

His place of birth on the census looks to be Langendamm.

Possible relative?
