Edward G Mills sent to Canada in 1923

Hi all,
I am looking for a long lost relative Edward G Mills born 1903 in Walsall , father George and  mother Ellen. He had an older sister Margaret who would have been about 15 in 1912.
 Ellen died in 1912 and Edward was sent to a boys home or orphanage
He ran away from the farm and worked his passage back on a ship and was back in Walsall in 1930.

Said to have married a Welsh girl and "moved up north "
