can anyone tell me how or where i could obtaine copy's of oldcastle workhouse records...
and what would i expect it to contain...

There's a link to Workhouse website in MEATH RESOURCES & LINKS at the top of this board-

If you follow the directions to the section for Oldcastle Workhouse it says records are in Meath County Library (see under Local Studies).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Francis Allen and Margaret ( Moran ) are my great grand parents, they are buried at st patricks drumshambo, there still is family living in drumshambo, i visited a few years ago and was blessed to find them and learnt a lot of history
