Rae ... what can I say?  You are a star :o

It's them all right and my wife and I are absolutely'gob-smacked' with this result.

How/from where did you get the information? I'd like to try and include their emigration details against their names in my file.

John would have given his occupation as 'Rivetter and CAULKER' - a 'caulker' being the man who put the 'caulk' (a waterproof material, such as oakum or pitch) in between deck planks on ships to make it watertight.

Seems as if I'm to spend more Credits on ScotlandsPeople to find their other two bairns.

Lang may yer lum reek!

Glad to have helped. It will take you some steps forward now!
I found the information on Ancestry under Immigration and Emigration after, like you, I hadn't found them on any other census. I used Helen's name as I thought that would show up quickly and it did! I think the D*ia might be Davina as on S.P free search there was one born 1883, St Andrews Dundee.
I'm sure my lum will keep reekin' as long as I don't spend too much on this hobby of mine!
If I can be of any help just let me know.
All the best.
Rae
