Hi Wul

Yes, it's the registration of her birth of 24.6.1930, second child:

Lore Krabusch, born on 24.6.1930 in Heerlen, Holland, dated 26.6.1930 (signed) Registrar, 26.6.1930. (No signature apparent SwissGill)

Christened on 14th September 1930 in the (here a guess: Lutheran Church of Heerlen, Holland).

BTW, that'll larn me to not read posts properly, tried to search for the place in Germany first.

Hope this helps.

Hi SwissGill

Thanks for the translation, my mother was born in Heerlen as I stated but her parents are German, she is the middle daughter of three girls. This is her with her mother and the bottom picture is her father on the right in Russia.

Hi Wul and hello Bethgem,

I hope you don't mind when I step in. But I can complete the information given in the bottom part of the birth certificate. It says: Lore Krabusch / Christened on 14th September 1930 in the rectory (that means in the dean's residence and definitely not in the church) of the Protestant Lutheran Parish of Heerlen - Holland by J.G. Kupfernagel (signature) - Minister.

Kind regards

Hi histres

Thanks to you and SwissGill for the translation, my mother passed away on 23rd of December 2009 and I want to try and build my German side of my family tree. The surname Krabush is not a very popular one compared to my grandmother who was a Hoffman, German genealogy is not as easy as finding my Scottish roots, I can go back to a John Graham born in 1671 near Langholm!

Thanks again,

Wul
