George Park was born 14 Feb 1786 in Adderstone, parish of Bambrough.  The Presby record does not have the mother's name at all.

Do you have any sibling names?I am not at home to look in my parish records for marriages in Bambrough, if I have that.  I won't be home for another 6 days.  If I remember I will have a look.

Hi - Thanks for these reply's, I have looked for a Bishops transcript record and there is the birth of George Park as mentioned without the mothers name but there are no marriages on that list which may supply the surname that I am searching for.
They are living at Horncliffe for the birth of the rest of the family (Elizabeth & Thomas) but the mothers surname is not mentioned and is not even on her gravestone.  The (sur?)name of Henry is used later in the family as a (female)middle name so I think that could be it but can not confirm it.
Cheers, Gordon.

The Bambrough marriages I have only go up to 1758.  Did any of the family die between 1798-1812?  There could be more information.

Hi Janis, they could possibly have had other children who died before moving to Horncliffe but I have not come across any.

Do Presbyterian marriage records from around 1785 exist for that area?

Gordon.

Don't forget Wooler - Cheviot Street, West Street and Tower Hill

Does anyone know where West Street was in Wooler?
