Would anyone know if the 1841 Census in Jersey would have been taken on the same day as in England?

I have found a Samuel Mcfarlain in Jersey with two children, Ann (7) George (2) which would fit in with my Samuel his son George was born in 1839 and although I don't have details of an Ann, his wife was named Ann too BUT my Samuel is on the 1841 Census in England, so if they were taken on the same day I can rule this out.

To confuse things a little further, I have found a Samuel Macfarlane - a negro on a Slave Register in 1817 in Jamaica - could this be my Samuel Macfarlane?

The 1841 Census of England, Wales, Scotland, Channel Islands and Isle of Man was taken on the night of 6 June according to Ancestry.
