Maddie  Would you happen to know - how I could find out about the workhouse? I tried Google and  I found other workhouses but not that one - is there a Buckingham site I could try -  that you know of...?

Hi

http://users.ox.ac.uk/~peter/workhouse/Wycombe/Wycombe.shtml

Try this site. There is a photo of the workhouse & a little bit about it. Bucks County Council site is quite good. You may be able to get some info from them.

I'll send you a PM if I find any more features on Bledlow.

I've been helping Kathy with your King's  ;D

And have just found this......I know he's a long way from home, but on the 1851 Eb has an E as a middle name and his name is pretty rare  ;D

Anyway,whaddya think?

Marriages Sep 1876

HALL  Sarah     Bradford Y  9b 67
KING  Ebenezer Edwin     Bradford Y  9b 67

Can't seem to see them in 1881 though. :(

Hi Carol!!

I've been watching you!! ;)
You and Kathy have been doing wonderful work! :D I've been trying to keep my nose out of it - so I didn't confuse matters!! I knew nothing - apart from this information on this board and few other little pieces of info - so when Kathy asked me if I thought it was right -  I had to say "I have no idea" this is definitely ALL NEW to me ... my family are such gypsies - nothing surprises me ( at least I came by it honestly!!) This really seems like it maybe a good prospect ... I always had it in my mind he must have died - if this is him - I'm so glad he didn't :D

Thanks for all your help - I appreciate it!!
