« on: Tuesday 12 January 10 16:19 GMT (UK) »

Hi,

Does anyone have any information or stories on the KOS Borderers. My ggrandfather was in them and would be interesting to see if anyone comes back with anything.
 :)

Yes, had a look earlier.
Would be really nice to know there are other people on here with that link in their family and see if they had any stories.

Unfortunately i don't have any stories apart from my ggrandfather was apparently shot in the head but survived and carried on in the army.  :)

my grandfather was wounded in Gallipoli was in the 1st of the 4th KOSB and I have found the war record on line, which vividly and horrifically describes the way in which he tries to help his cousin. His name WK Innes the website http://www.archive.org/stream/warrecord00browuoft/warrecord00browuoft_djvu.txt look at the pdf (other formats on the left hand side) to read it more clearly
