Hi all,
Could someone please tell me,
Is it possible to obtain the birthplace of someone mentioned
in the 1851 census abstracts. Regards Iain

Unfortunately none of the 1851 census for Co. Londonderry survives.

If you mean the pension claims information extracted from 1851 and 1841 census- it doesn't give an exact birthplace but does say where a person was living (or said they were living) at that time.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi,
Thanks for the prompt reply,
I have a Doherty family in Gulladuff 1851 Census
obtained from the Pension claims, sorry not to have mentioned,
I thought there may have been a chance to trace family origin
But the trail goes cold here,
