The ROBERTS / FOWLER family from SELKIRK 1796-1877

Looking for information regarding Alexander Thomas Roberts born 8 May 1885, son of Thomas J S Roberts and Hyndemer Rutherford Roberts and grandson of George and Agnes Roberts. 

Alexander married my ancester Evelyn Laura Henderson, born 24 July 1890, Detroit, Michigan, USA.  They were married in Detroit on 25 Jun 1913.  Evelyn moved to Scotland with Alexander but they divorced (date unknown) and she returned 24 Feb 1931 (source: NY Passenger Lists - S.S. Baltic, 24 Feb 1931).  Their marriage lasted about 18 years (1931-1913).

Alexander and Evelyn were living in Detroit, Michigan in 1818 because Alexander registered for the draft in Detroit on 12 Sept 1818.  Not sure when Alexander and Evelyn left for Scotland but Evelyn's mother, Laura Henderson, went to visit Evelyn in Scotland in 1920 (source: NY Passenger Lists - S.S. Baltic, 27 Apr 1920).
