Hi all, Does anyone know what 12 Crighton Street was in 1883. Was it a private house, work house, lodgings boarding house etc. It might close up a link in my family tree.

Searching Owen and Co's Cardiff Directory 1887 (find it under Historical Directories)

David Jenkins, Board of Trade, 12 Crichton St.

It ran between Bute St and East Canal Wharf

Hi,  An aunt of mine, Martha Ruby Griffiths was born at 12 Crichton Street, Cardiff on 8 October 1901 but I cannot find her in the 1911 census.  My grandparents and her parents, are Edwin and Margaret Griffiths
