Hi again Michael,
Yes these are definately "our lot" as we would say in Birmingham. The only living person I knew in our tree was my Auntie Bertha. She passed away just before we left for Australia. A lovely lady whom I grew up believing to be my dads only living relative but have since found many and in frequent contact with in UK.
My Grandfather Richard George died during an epileptic fit. This fit caused him to fall in a lake. The lake was in Handsworth Park where he was head gardener.
You may be pleased to know I have a cousin Michael Crump, your namesake. He is my eldest brothers son, he is 44 this year and lives in Sydney.
Do write again if you wish to know more, esspecially if you know why my grandparents were freqeunting Massachusetts. I came across a Jos Holroyd who on one of the emigration papers was stated to be a relative ?, but cannot find any trace of him. Would love to know your link to the family also.
Best wishes Lee.
