Aberedw Court and Evenjobb Court
« on: Thursday 28 January 10 10:40 GMT (UK) »

I am trying to find information on both Aberedw and Evenjobb my research is centered around the Rev John Powell who married Phillippa Baskerville, Phillippa family owned Aberedw Court, she was born at Aberwdw in 1743.
Evenjobb Court seemed to have been inherieted by John and Phillippa son Thomas, I am not sure where this fits into the family

Any local  information would be great.but in particular John Powell

The family of Rev John Powell became associated with Evenjobb Court when Meliora (daughter of Rev John Powell) married Peter Rickards of Evenjobb Court. Peter Rickards assumed the surname Rickards-Mynors in 1787 (shortly before his death in 1794)
The Rickards-Mynors family (of Treago, Herefordshire) are well documented

As Reverend John Powell was from Clyro it seems possible that this is is his will at National Archives, available for £3.50.

Reverend John Powell , Clerk of Clirow, Radnorshire 6th November 1819
