Edward & Martha were married in Baldcock 28 Dec 1807, moved to Therfield after their first child, also named Edward, was born 1808.
Trying to trace Edward c1785 parents and any other relatives before 1800.
Edward c1785 was my 3xgreat grandfather.

Hello and welcome to Rootschat,

The IGI records a baptism of an Edward PRATT s/o John and Ann at Clothall on 11Sep1785.  Clothall is a neighbouring parish to Baldock.

Could be your man.
