For future reference, perhaps you could post full details from the 1881 census ie. ages/birthplaces to save other people having to look it up first.  It is often easier to find by birthplace.

I think you meant to say children not siblings

Yes I did mean children. Can I also ask you to check one thing for me.

Louis jean? ( real name ...Louis Estevan Green de woolfson) 15. does it definitely show his birth place as Hague Holland as the 1881/1891 shows uraguay.

Definitely says born Hague, Holland but it does say Louis Green (not Jean) - my typo!

I wonder which birthplace is true - can see how a census enumerator has misread either written in the old script ie. Ur/H agu ..... .  Perhaps Uruguay if that's what it says in 1881 and 1891

My money is on Uruguay. all my data points to that and seeing that his wife was born in Montevideo makes it more of a certainty.

Can I press you again ? would you have access to the 1891 census. I need to find David Theodore etc address for that period( it could be either London or Southampton). That will be my last piece of info for the family ( my wifes family) in England, then I will have to trace back to there origin Prussia.
