1891 & 1901 Census GRANT FAMILY
« on: Monday 01 February 10 15:30 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for any information in the 1891 and 1901 census records for the Grant Familly. Thomas Grant was born about 1837 in Wigston, Leicester. He was married to Charlotte born about 1838 in St. Margarets, Leicester. In the 1881 census Thomas was listed as a Framework Knitter. Known children are Arthur (1861-?), Alfred (1865-?), Elizabeth (1867-?), Thomas (1872-?), Frederick (1875-?), James (1877-?), Charlotte (1880-?). Any information regarding this family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. :)

Thank you so much for the speedy response and the census information. Is there any record for Arthur, Alfred and Thomas Grant in the same census records?
Karen

Thank you Mike. I am slowly getting my family tree built with your help and others on RootsChat. Would you possibly be able to help on my other thread "Leicester Burial Look Ups"?

Family Relations - Elizabeth Grant, b.10/24/1866 in Leciester, Eng d.01/12/1932, Philadelphia, pa...daughter of Arthur Grant & Charlotte Weston.  Arthur Grant b.10/14/1837, Wigston.  Married Charlotte Weston, 09/23/1858 in Leicester.

Charlotte was daughter of James Weston, Sr. & Sophia Dixon.  James Weston Sr. born 03/23/1812 in Leicester, died 12/17/1989 in Wilford Road Cm., Leics. Eng.

Would like any information or relations which will help me with Arthur Grant, Sophia Dixon.  Also looking for information on the "Fox Family" - James Fox, born 04/30/1861 in Leciestershire, Eng. died 06/15/1928, Philadelphia...who married Elizabeth Grant [above] in Leicester on 08/02/1886.  James Fox was frame work knitter and English army.

Have some photo's if interested.
