Benjamin Williams family in Argoed 1911 (Updated)
« on: Thursday 17 March 05 13:36 GMT (UK) »
Benjamin  Williams born 1862 in Briton Ferry, Wife Cecilia born in Mountain Ash 1867 and married 1886 in Bridgend.

1901 Census has the address 18 Griffith Street, Maerdy.

Children: David Griffith born 1889; Mary born 1890; William Thomas born 1892; Benjamin born 1894; Elizabeth born 1896; Ivor born 1898 and Stanley born 1900

My grandfather worked as the Manager at Llanover Pits, Argoed from June 1909 till 31st July 1911.

According to a South Wales Echo report dated September 1912, where he had saved many in a gold mine accident in Sumatra, his family was still living in Argoed.

Any help would be most welcome.
Thank you
Kind regards
Paul Williams
