Does anyone have any info on this then school? My gt grandfather is on a census in 1881 census as being a scholar here. Thanks. Oh and I have looked at alot of the sites listed in the Kent Lookups etc and cannot find it.

Again, not much, but there is an advert in "The Times" 1 Jul 1893 ..............

Thanet College, Margate Mr LEETHAM
Thanet Lodge, Margate (little boys) Miss LEETHAM
Thanet Hall, Margate (girls) Mrs LEETHAM

Looks like it could be one of the many small private schools in business about that time.
