marriage look up please

Hi

I have found a marriage of William Morgan to Hannah Samuel in 1825,Saint Mary,Swansea Glamorgan,Llansamlet.Iwas wondering if i can view this or someone else can view this just to see if theres any info like,where they were born,job,fathers names etc.Any help would be great thanks Lee.

names of fathers & occupations don't appear on marriages until civil registration in 1837. What you get is what parish they were of at the time & names of witnesses who may be related and therefore useful. The parish bit isn't always as useful as it seems as it took all of 3 weeks to be considered of a parish. If one or other was under age (21), you should find the phrase, with consent of...

In this case the marriage was in St Mary's, the parish church of Swansea, on December 25th, and both were of the parish. Not sure where the reference to Llansamlet comes from.

Have you found any baptisms for the couple? Baptisms should give occupation for father and sometimes address.
