tried to find marriages and deaths for them but nothing
last known place they stayed was alfreton derbyshire

You may have to trawl through 1837 on line for those marriages unless anyone else can find them elsewhere. Was Deliah the one recorded at birth as Delliah Daykin Maisey?

yes  i think that was Delilah's middle name i checked the 1881 census when her mother was still alive and found her name spelt wrong on the 1901 census
 her mother died between 1881-1891 that is when Alfred married Harriet
i have even tried immigration but to no avail

But sadly no info on another of the others,looks like they may have married after 1910 when free bmd stops.Bertie George is on there as marrying in 1908.

Think you might have to trawl through 1837online (pay per view) or use the free microfiche indexes at any large library,if you're in England that is

I have just taken a look at the actual image of the 1901 and was not convinced that it does in fact say Readel. It doesn't!!!

I have found his birth in June 1892 in Belper ref 7b 637
The first letter is not too clear but I think it says KENDAL as it is in between Herbert and May.Could also be an R but I doubt it as it would not be in alphabetical order then

So I think it says Kendal Scollborn MAISEY or possibly ScoTTborn.

you are right looked at the image again in day light which always helps 
it is kendel Scott cant make out the last bit
thanks anyway i will keep looking
not using 1837 on line again a waste of money
live in Scotland guess what went to the library and said to the women what i was looking for honest to god you think i had asked her for the moon
didn't get it but will keep looking for Leopold

Leopold Maisey died at Tientsin, China, on 15th July 1903, from "a form of blood poisoning"; he was a private in the 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Derbyshire Regiment), and was the son of Mr Alfred Maisey, a skin merchant, who resided in Wilson Street, Alfreton.
