Aghadowey,
Please ignore this if you are already aware but I can find the marriage of John Leek to Margaret Allen in Tamlaghtard Church of Ireland, Magilligan on 24 Aug 1846. The only child I can find is Edward Fleming Leek, born 27 May 1866 in Bellarena Registration District.

Regards
Stewart, Irwin, Morrison, Haslett, Murrell - Dungiven area Co. Londonderry
Browne, Barrett -Co.Armagh
Neil, Smyth _Co. Antrim

IGI also lists Joseph LEEKE born 24 Feb.1864 Bellarena district. There were probably other children born before civil registration started in 1864.

There's quite a few pages- too much (and some too recent) too put here but I can send it to you offline when I get my scanner re-connected to computer if you are interested.

I would love to see those pages Aghadowey. I think I know who was being quoted too. There is some info there that I'd never heard before and I've only ever seen one picture of Charles Leeke sat in a motorcar and that was a very long time ago. Must see if I can get the Leekes to dig out these pics and send them cyber! How could we arrange for me to see the pages you quoted from safely Aghadowey?

Again referring to the Griffith website, this appears to be property number 15 in Cullycapple, occupied by William Thompson at the time.

Looking at the (modern OS) map of Cullyrammer, Rose Lodge is marked and appears to be closer to Mayoghill than Sam Lyttle's farm - approximately equating to the neighbouring farm of Robert Lyttle in Griffith.

Yes, the property was William Thompson's in Griffith's and Ironmongers' Notes on Tenants (1863) but by 1886 Tenants List was part of Thomas H. Marks'.

Dates with no indication of birth or death remain as yet obscure
My Leek records in Tamlaghtard begin with:

Leek (Widow), 1740 - Upper Doaghs. A rent of Mr William Bacon's returned to Mr William King at Allsaints, 1740 by Mr Robert Bacon whom he employed to manage his sons affairs. PRONI D/1550/149/1/4
Thomas Leck, d: 1751 - Tamlaghtard burial record
Elizabeth Leake, d: 1752 Doaghs, P. Tam, (will)
James Leake, d: 1764 Doaghs, P. Tam, (will)
Thomas Leek, d: 1766 - Ballyleighery, P. Tam, (will), householder 1740 "BellyMargy"
Catherine Leeke, d: 1780 - Upper Doaghs, P. Magilligan (will)
John Leake, 4 Dec 1755 – Son of George and Cecily (baptized Dec 14th) There is a John Leake recorded in 1826 Tithe Applotment Books who lived in the townland of Upper Middle Doaghs, Tamlaghtard.  The 1831 Census lists a John Leek as head of household in townland of Craig, nr Magilligan Station
Dinah Leake, b: Oct 1759 – Daughter of George and Cecily (baptized 2nd Oct)
Leake (Miss), 1768 – Survey AD MDCCLXVIII of Estate (half parish of Magilligan) of Hodgson Gage, Esq., Miss Leake’s Division in North Ballylaghry (Ballyleighery), perhaps a daughter of Thomas Leek (d: 1766) D/673/56
George Leek – Recorded in 1826 Tithe Applotment Books, townland of South Duncrun. 1831 Census, lists one George Leek living in Tamlaght, not necessarily the same person
Francis Leck, d: 26 Dec 1837 - Father of John (who married Margaret) – certain,(possibly) the father of Francis (b: 1810) as well, Ballymultimber, Tamlaghtard recorded 1826 Tithe Applotment Books
John Leek, b: 1789, Margy  d: 21 June 1881 (92 yrs) – The Primary Valuation of Ireland (Griffith Valuation) lists two John "Lecks" when the Magilligan records went to print in 1858, a typographical error. A John Leck lived Duncrun (7), and a John Leck lived in Margymonaghan (1b). The burial record for this John mentions Duncrun. Is this the brother of Francis, above?
James Leek, b: 1799  d: 1864 (65 yrs)
George Leek, cb: 1800  d: 2 Apr 1835 (35 yrs) – Buried at St Aidan’s Mixed Graveyard with John (1830-1851) D/3672/3

George Leek, the Bog, cb: 1810    d: 1861 (51 yrs)
Francis Leek, Duncrun, b: 1810    d: 4 May 1874 (64 yrs)  - Father of Charles (b:1852), recorded Primary Valuation (1858) Ballymultimber (10A + B), Tamlaghtard. Transcribed as recorded parish records of Tamlaghtard. “Duncrun”  is confusing.
Margaret Leek, b: 1820  d: 2 July 1888 (68 yrs)  - Daughter of James Allen of Lenamore (Primary Valuation 5a+b), married John Leek. Her will abstract reads thus: “Letters of Administration of the personal estate of Margaret Leek late of Margymonaghan County Londonderry, Widow, who died 2 July 1888 at same place were granted at Londonderry to George Leek of Margymonaghan, Farmer,  the Son”.
