« on: Saturday 13 February 10 21:48 GMT (UK) »
Hi Folks
Can anyone tell me anything about Finsbury Home on Shobnall Street Burton upon Trent?
I believe it may have been a childrens home or something similar.
Does anyone know if any records survive from this place? as my Grandfather was born there but was adopted.
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated

Paul

Hi Paul, a very belated reply but as madabout says, it was a nursing home from 1911 through until about 10 years ago I think.  When was your grandfather born, and did you find any records?  I'm very interested to learn about people that were cared for there.
